Does anyone know when they will change the body style of the GMC Sierra trucks? They changed to the “new” bodies (along with offering a classic model) in 2007, and I think they change the bodies every 3 or 4 years considering they changed the chevrolet models in 99, then in 2003, and then again in 2007. This would put it the body styles changing with the 2011 models, but i wanted to know if anyone knows when they will change it and if they have any spy shots of the new body style yet??

wait and see gmc and chevy talking about merging together so things could change
Word is the next generation full size trucks and SUVs have been delayed. They need to focus on small cars these days due to high gas prices.
GM has to survive that long first.
Really.
I read somewhere that they plan to change it in 2012. I personally like what they have right now, but believe they can do better. I do in fact like what they’ve done with the engine and interior. Not to mention the suspension. I have a 99 which is still truckin….so can’t wait to hold out for maybe a 2012 brand spankin new with everything…a denali is my goal. I’ve had this 99 brand spankin new and am itchin’ for a new one. I can wait though since it’s still working with no problems, haven’t even changed my brakes yet and they’ve got 140K on them. Expect them in 2012…and Chevy is GM…and yes they do have to survive first. Watch Chrysler merge with GM!!!! It’s gotta happen…..then style would meet reliability. And power would make power even powerful!!!!! Yes baby, more power!!!!!
