Auto theft suspect leads SD County authorities on chase before being caught

Woman injured in assault
Police are searching for a man after a woman was found badly beaten at a Clinton motel early Sunday. Clinton Police Officer Eric Koonce received a 911 call about an injury at the Sycamore II Motel laundry room about 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 19.
