I believe that Honda are the most reliable car, well I own one, its a 1989 LX with 160k miles on it still running great, no major problems, just have to change oil every 3 months or 3000miles and change transmission fluid every 6 months.

So basically its a 22yr old car, but still running great, its just, I need more performance. 1989 Civic LX only have 92HP! Driving it nowadays in highway is a pain in the ass when merging, specially when the speed limit is 65mph.

But driving it on a 50mph speed limit is still ok, but not on 65 or 70mph hi-way. Also I need a new car cause on summer, Im planning to drive to different states so, I need a new car.

Im leaning towards the Mazda 3, because its sporty, I have no doubt, that when I test drove this two car, Mazda is the winner, and its driving experience is far far from the Civic.

Im just a little bit concerned on the reliability of the Mazda 3, because I want to keep the car for a long time, like 10-15 yrs. I take care of car so its not an issue. Just look at my Honda Civic its 22yrs old and is still running great.

So going back to the question, what are your thoughts? Thanks in advance!

The Mazda MX-5 Miata makes for one wild ride

There was a time in history when people went out for a drive simply for entertainment.  The automobile was new technology or even just new to the family and its ability to take you to far away lands, while speeding down tree lined curvy roads provided a sense of thrill and satisfaction that was not available through sitting on the front porch.  But now, in today’s fast-paced society the automobile has become simply a means of getting from one task to the next.  The art of enjoying life is all but gone, and taking time out to go for a drive in the country just doesn’t happen anymore.  For many people, just getting to the countryside would be a three-hour drive anyways!

One automaker, however, feels society needs to get back to this tradition of getting out in the country and going for a drive.  Mazda has redesigned its Miata in hopes that American’s will take a break from the stressors of life and go have a little fun on the open road.  Mazda has done an extraordinary job redesigning the perfect vehicle for the task: the 2010/2011 Mazda MX-5 Miata.  The little convertible is sporty and fun and at a base price of just over $27k, Mazda has made the vehicle accessible to most.

The most notably feature of the Mazda Miata is its front grille.  Looking at the vehicle, one can’t help but smile because it seems the Miata is doing just that right back.  The grille is large, especially next to all the small features characteristic of the little Miata.  What’s more, the grille features a straight line across its top, and a curved line across its bottom.  The combination results in nothing other than a big grin, spread wide across the whole front of the vehicle.  Looking at the vehicle, its almost as if the Miata is daring someone not to smile and in the end, you really can’t help yourself.  But after all, what’s the point of a convertible that doesn’t make you smile?

The latest Miata, which is available at a local Palm Beach used car dealer and new car dealer, is the work of Mazda’s recently retired chief engineer Takao Kijima.  Mr. Kijima recently retired from Mazda after 25 years of work.  The latest MX-5 Miata has been called “…a culmination of his life’s work.” Some extra special features he added to his last vehicle were dampers from the race-spec MX-5 NR-A and 170 horsepower that peaks at 7,000 rpm.  After all, Kijima and Mazda were attempting to revive the tradition of country drives out on little, twisting deserted roads and of course the fun only happens if the vehicle has the ability to use everything the roads have to offer.  The Mazda MX-5 Miata won’t disappoint even the most demanding drivers.

The 2010/2011 Miata moves so well on backcountry roads thanks to its four-cylinder engine and sports-car handling.  The manual transmission is short-throw and ensures the driver complete freedom when taking tight curves.  Finally, the short-ratio steering only adds to the overall thrilling experience.

A local Palm Beach used car dealer and new car dealercan explain more specifics of the new Miata before drivers head out to the open roads outside of Lake Worth. Used cars and new cars sporting the Mazda logo can be found at great prices in Palm Beach, which is just a short drive from Lake Worth.  Used cars make a great trade-in for the new Mazda Miata and since the convertibles are known to run forever, it will be a long time before the Miata becomes a used car needed to be traded in!So go on, take the Miata out for a country drive, and put the fun back in life.
